What you need to work as a Healthcare assistant

Eligibility

To work with us you must be eligible to work in the UK

Mandatory Training

To register with Realcare+ we will be required you have 3-6 months experience working within healthcare setting and have your mandatory training done within the last 12 months.

CRB Check

When you register to work for Realcare+ you will be required to complete a CRB check. This is compulsory for all applicants.

References

We ask you to provide two professional references from your last place of work. These references must be from your line manager, supervisor or Team leader who is able to give reference on your skills and competencies.

Starting Work

Once we have completed the interview and induction and complete each candidate personal file checklist to ensure your compliance to work in line with CQC (Care Quality Commission) guidelines, we will get you out to work.

If offered a position, new staff must undergo induction training which includes Health and Safety, Fire safety, an understanding of the core values and principles of the care standards and regulations including - confidentiality, whistle blowing, requirements of legislation, policies and procedures of the organisation and a code of personal conduct.

All new recruits go through practical induction where they are supervised by a trained member of staff before being places to work.
